Terms of Service — MultiMuse
Last updated: July 8, 2026
Agreement
These Terms govern your use of MultiMuse and multimuse.app (the "Service"), provided by BackStagePass Group ("we," "us," or "our"). The Service includes the MultiMuse Discord bot, this website, the user dashboard, and the MultiMuse Discord Activity (connection-cloud viewer).
Other BackStagePass Group products are governed separately: StageHand, BackDrop. Groupie: groupie.lol/terms.
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). Minors must have permission from a parent or guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to deceive, impersonate real people without consent, harass, threaten, or violate others' rights;
- Spam, scrape, or overload the Service or Discord's API;
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, API keys, or systems;
- Resell or sublicense MultiMuse or API access except as allowed in our API Usage Policy;
- Upload malware or disrupt the Service;
- Violate Discord's Terms of Service, Developer Policy, or Community Guidelines;
- Use muse names or avatars to impersonate other members or staff in a misleading way.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
Your Content
"Your Content" includes muses, proxy posts, images, connection graphs, and other material you submit through the Service. You retain ownership. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and transmit Your Content solely to operate the Service (including posting via Discord webhooks and showing published connection clouds).
You represent that you have the rights to share Your Content and that it is lawful. Content posted to public servers or marked public may be visible to others. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
Discord Activities (Connections)
MultiMuse includes a Discord Activity for viewing muse connection clouds inside Discord.
- Activities must be launched from supported Discord channel types (text or voice channels—not threads, per Discord's rules). Server staff are responsible for where they enable launch buttons or commands.
- The Activity is primarily a read-only viewer. Building or editing connection graphs requires the multimuse.app dashboard unless a feature explicitly allows otherwise.
- If you publish a connection cloud for public browse or share a viewer link, you accept that other Discord users may view that published content in the Activity.
- Activity use is also subject to Discord's Embedded App and Activity terms. We do not control Discord's client or availability of Activities in all regions or channel types.
API and Integrations
Use of the MultiMuse HTTP API is governed by our API Usage Policyin addition to these Terms. Keep API keys secret; do not embed keys in public client-side code.
Server Administrators
If you add MultiMuse to a Discord server, you are responsible for informing members how the bot uses messages (trigger-based proxy posting), what data is stored, and whether connection clouds or tracking features are enabled. You must have authority to add bots to that server.
Payment and Premium Features
Some features may require a paid subscription. Fees, billing cycles, cancellation, and refunds are handled through the payment platform you choose (Stripe, Patreon, or Discord). Third-party processor terms apply to payment data. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
Intellectual Property
We do not claim ownership of Your Content. We retain all rights in the MultiMuse software, branding, and aggregated anonymized usage statistics. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. DISCORD AND OTHER THIRD-PARTY SERVICES ARE OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) $100 USD, EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
